A man from Lafayette County was arrested for his part in a domestic abuse incident early Monday morning. According to the Darlington Police Department, 29 year old David Ramos-Godoy of Darlington was arrested around 2am Monday for strangulation and suffocation, false imprisonment, battery, and disorderly conduct following a domestic abuse incident at a residence on Galena Street in Darlington. He remains jailed pending a court appearance.
