Wisconsin lawmakers have heard from supporters of a new truth-in-labeling law. A hearing was held at the Capitol Thursday. The legislation being considered would make it against the law to call something cheese or milk if there’s no dairy in it. Supporters say it should be made clear that cheese comes from milk – not soy or nuts. Other states have passed similar laws and they are currently being tested in the courts
