A man from Browntown was arrested Thursday for his 7th offense of Operating White Intoxicated. Just before noon, deputies with the Green County Sheriff’s Department checked on a stranded motorist in the Town of Adams. An investigation revealed that 66 year old Carmen Ott of Browntown was traveling south on Biggs Road when his vehicle struck a tree limb in the roadway. His vehicle had disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Upon further investigation, Ott was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence, 7th Offense. He was further cited for Operating After Revocation, No Motor Vehicle Insurance, and False Display of Registration. He was held at the Green County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
