The Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a traffic complaint around 8:30pm on Friday of a truck driving erratically on Highway 80, south of Platteville. A report says the vehicle almost struck multiple cars and almost went into the ditch on the opposite side of the road. A Grant County Sheriff’s Deputy and a Cuba City Police Officer located the vehicle just north of Cuba City. A traffic stop was made and 65 year old Thomas Bowden of Platteville was identified as the driver. Bowden refused field sobriety tests and he was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated. He was taken to Southwest Health Center in Platteville where a blood draw was done. Bowden was then released to a responsible party. Bowden was also cited for Possession of Marijuana.
