A Lafayette County man escaped injury after a single-vehicle crash near the Town of Cadiz in Green County Wednesday around 9am. 27 year old Cody Young of Argyle was traveling northbound on West River Road when he reported that his brakes failed. The vehicle then crashed, causing severe front end damage. The vehicle was towed from the scene. An investigation revealed that Young had fled the scene. Young reported that he was not injured. Young was cited for failure to keep his vehicle under control, Failure to Report an Accident to Law Enforcement, and for Operating without Motor Vehicle Insurance.
