Dubuque School Fire

Firefighters were called to Dubuque Senior High School late Tuesday afternoon for a small fire in a classroom. According to fire officials, the blaze was reported in a foods room on a cook top in the classroom. No one was injured and firefighters say the sprinkler system at Senior High School had extinguished the blaze before crews arrived. Students were evacuated as a precaution. Officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation – but authorities believe the fire was likely accidental.
