A former Dubuque man on Monday pleaded guilty to a series of sexual assaults years ago and now faces up to 40 years in prison. 30 year old Martel Fountain Sr. pleaded guilty in Iowa District Court for Dubuque County to four counts of third-degree sexual assault. Authorities say three of the incidents occurred in 2011 and another in May 2014. Four different women were sexually assaulted. Reports say that Fountain forced his way into the homes of each of the four women. Fountain’s sentencing hearing is set for the week of March 30th, with an exact date and time to be determined.
