US Senator Bernie Sanders is calling on Wisconsin to postpone the April 7th primary election during the coronavirus outbreak. The Democratic presidential hopeful is battling former Vice President Joe Biden for the party’s nomination. Sanders said, “people should not be forced to put their lives on the line to vote, which is why 15 states are now following the advice of public health experts and delaying their elections.” He says the state should extend early voting and work to move to entirely vote-by-mail.
