The Grant County Sheriff’s Department reports that a crash this morning before 7am closed Highway 35 and US Highway 61 in both directions for about 3 hours between Potosi and Lancaster. Traffic was rerouted at the Highway 35/US Highway 61/Highway 81 intersection with Highway 81 where the road was closed at Larry’s Welding. All southbound traffic was diverted through Platteville. The road was re-opened around 10:30am. No information about the crash has been made available.
