Governor Kim Reynolds announced Monday that restaurants, bars, fitness centers, and retails stores in 77 counties can re-open Friday at 50 percent of operating capacity. However – previous restrictions are still going to be in place for areas including Dubuque, Allamakee and Fayette Counties. Churches in all 99 counties may resume services, though Reynolds is urging churches to practice social distancing. The governor says her decision is based on the reported virus activity in those 77 counties over the past two weeks, along with hospitalization rates and the number of recovered patients. Reynolds asks everyone to be responsible as businesses open up and to keep taking precautions.
