A Lancaster man suffered serious injuries after a crash late Wednesday night in Ellenboro Township. 58 year old Richard Martin was taken to Grant Regional Health Center by Lancaster EMS following a one-vehicle accident around 11:35pm. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the crash on Cannon Road near Buckwheat Ridge Road in Ellenboro Township. Martin’s vehicle was traveling north on Cannon Road, when he crested a hill and failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the road and struck a large culvert. Reports say Martin was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Assisting the Sheriff’s office at the crash scene was the Lancaster Fire Department, Lancaster EMS and Bennett’s Towing of Lancaster. The crash remains under investigation.
