A total of 11 honors were recently presented to QueenB Radio thru the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Awards of Excellence. During a virtual gala, WBA President and CEO Michelle Vetterkind along with the Awards Committee Chair, Lindsay Wood Davis, announced winners in dozens of categories for radio, TV and digital media. QueenB Radio was earned three 1st-place awards, including a top honor for WGLR’s 25th Anniversary of the Interview with Santa. The QueenB Radio group also got a total of four 2nd-place awards, as well as four 3rd-place awards. Outside of broadcasting honors – like best on-site broadcast and best commercial – the awards also recognized QueenB Radio in categories such as best use of social media and best website.
