Four Pizza Hut restaurants in Iowa have closed abruptly, and apparently permanently. Pizza Hut restaurants in Dyersville, Manchester and Maquoketa, as well as one of the two locations in Dubuque have indicated that they have ceased operations. While the Pizza Hut on East 20th Sreet in Dubuque has closed, the one on University Avenue remains open for business, as do the locations in Platteville and Prairie du Chien. The sudden closures are apparently linked to the bankruptcy of one of the chain’s largest franchisees.
