Two Positive COVID Tests At Darlington School

Officials with the Darlington Community School District say they’re aware of two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the elementary-middle school. Administrators are working with the Lafayette County Health Department to establish those who had close contact with individuals that have tested positive. The health department will issue guidelines to protect any additional staff or students who may have been exposed. Those who have potentially been exposed will be moved into the virtual learning format for Darlington Schools. At this time, the administration did not indicate any other district-wide changes for Darlington.
