UW-Platteville Day of Giving

UW-Platteville alumni and friends celebrated Pioneers Day of Giving by raising more than $141-thousnad dollars on October 9^th. The university surpassed its goal with more than 290 donors. The annual event is in honor of Founder’s Day and raises funds to support student success. Alumni and friends were able to stay virtually connected by following UWP social media pages where updates were given throughout the day. The Pioneers Day of Giving set a goal of 241 donors, one for each of the 241 steps of the world’s largest M. Scott Baumgartner, chair of the UW-Platteville foundation, said the foundation is extremely grateful to all of its alumni, friends and corporate partners who made the 2020 Pioneers Day of Giving the best yet.
