Many local election officials are reporting a record turnout of voters for Tuesday’s presidential election. Some locations like Madison report more than 82 percent of registered voters either went to the polls Tuesday or voted early. Lines were long on Election Day, but the process usually moved quickly. Despite the bitterness of the campaign, there were no major issues reported from Wisconsin polling locations.
