MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin added nearly 6,000 more coronavirus cases Saturday.
Combined data from state and county health dashboards showed an additional 5,952* cases of COVID-19 in the state, which makes Wisconsin’s total count of cases since the start of the pandemic 263,561*.
Thirty-nine* more people died, which is a total of 2,329 in the state.
173 more people were hospitalized between Friday and Saturday, the Department of Health Services said. A total of 4.8% of people in the state with COVID-19 have required hospitalizations.
DHS said 202,879 people, or 77.1%, in Wisconsin have recovered from COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
