MADISON, Wis. — Members of the community received an update Monday night on Madison’s proposed bus rapid transit system.
During a virtual meeting, the City’s transportation department discussed the first phase, which will run from West Towne to East Towne through downtown.
The city said it is considering the creation of bus-only lanes running down the center of the roadway, as opposed to the curb side of the street, to preserve parking and bike lanes for a portion of the day.
