MADISON, Wis. — Madison area firefighters participated in a calendar with proceeds benefiting Gio’s Garden and Dane County Humane Society.
According to a release, the calendar features local firefighters with their pets, rescue pets and DCHS alumni animals. Fire Fighters Local 311 annually participates in the calendar to help nonprofits.
“Fire Fighters Local 311 does so much for the people and animals in our community, and we are excited to partner with them for the second year in a row,” Amy Good, director of development and marketing for DCHS, said. “Partnerships like this provide compassion and care for thousands of animals in need.”
The calendars are available at madisonfirecalendar.com, DCHS’ Thrift Store and Dane County Mounds Pet Food Warehouse locations for $20.
