VILLAGE OF BLUE MOUNDS, Wis. — The Blue Mounds Police Department will soon have new AEDs after a recent donation.
The police department said Casey’s General Store in Blue Mounds donated money to go toward the purchase of new automatic external defibrillators in the department’s squad cars. There will also be an AED placed in the village’s new police station, which opened last month.
In a statement, Blue Mounds Chief of Police Hoops said: “I want to personally thank Caseys for the donation, it was time to upgrade all of our AEDs and most importantly having them in our squad cars and police department will and has saved lives.”
