MADISON, Wis. — Dane County Farmers’ Market will pilot hosting its Wednesday Local Food Pickups inside pavilion two at the Alliant Energy Center.
Starting Dec. 2 and continuing Wednesdays through Dec. 16, DCFM will move its pickups from Willow Island to the inside of pavilion two, a release said.
The pavilion will shelter DCFM vendors and provide space for customers to drive-thru and have preorders placed into vehicles. The pickups will be from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
“The DCFM remains committed to providing safe ways for patrons to purchase directly from family farmers and small food producers, “ Market Manager Sarah Elliott said.
Customers can preorder products through WhatsGood. Customers do not have to leave vehicles.
