MADISON, Wis. — A Madison man was arrested following a drug investigation last week, officials said.
The Dane County Narcotics Task Force and Madison Police Department SWAT team conducted a search warrant Tuesday on an apartment in the 2400 block of Allied Drive, according to the incident report.
The report said 45-year-old Dana Herron was living in the apartment with a woman and two children. Police said he was the subject of a heroin peddling case.
Authorities found over 36 grams of cocaine and more than 10 grams of heroin during the search. Three handguns and more than $18,000 in cash were also seized. Police said one of the guns was listed as stolen.

Herron was taken into custody without incident and tentatively charged with the following:
- five counts of delivery of heroin
- maintaining a drug trafficking place
- possession with intent to deliver heroin
- possession with intent to deliver cocaine
- felon in possession of a firearm
