MADISON, Wis. — State park stickers and state trail passes for 2021 go on sale Tuesday.
State park stickers cost $28 for Wisconsin residents and $38 for non-residents. An annual pass provides access to Wisconsin’s more than 60 state parks, forests and recreation areas.
Households with more than one registered vehicle can get an additional state park sticker for $15.50 for residents and $20.50 for non-residents. Wisconsin residents 65 years of age and older can buy an annual sticker for $13.
Annual trail passes, which are required for biking, in-line skating, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, and other activities on some state trails, are available for $25 for residents and non-residents. Trail passes are not required for walking or hiking.
“We are excited to offer annual admission passes online this year in addition to at properties and on the phone,” said Diane Brusoe, DNR Fish, Wildlife and Parks Deputy Division Administrator. “With winter quickly approaching, visitors can get their passes easier than ever and make the most of a year of outdoor recreation fun.”
Annual admission stickers are available for purchase online, at state park facilities and over the phone, according to a news release. State trail passes are available at individual sites or over the phone.
Those looking to place orders over the phone can call the DNR at 1-88-305-0398 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. seven days a week. Anyone who wants their stickers and passes delivered before the holidays should place their order by Dec. 11.
Annual admission stickers and passes are valid through Dec. 31 of 2021.
