SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Police believe that shots fired from a vehicle in Sun Prairie on Saturday was a targeted shooting, according to an incident report.
Police responded to Highway 151 near exit 100 around 3:25 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired. They determined that a darker colored sedan shot a black Jeep Cherokee that was driving southbound on the highway, the report said.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the shooting was not random, but rather a targeted attack. No one was hurt in the shooting, according to officials.
The investigation is ongoing and police are continuing to search for the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting. Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Sun Prairie Police Department.
