MADISON, Wis. — Police are investigating a report of a gunshot near the 800 block of Troy Drive around noon on Sunday.
According to the incident report, a Tony Drive resident called police after a man fired a gunshot near his home. He said the gunman was driving a car and was in a dispute with people in another car. Both vehicles stopped in the street as combatants threw projectiles at one another.
The witness said this ended when the man with the gun fired a round at the other car and those directly involved sped off.
A glass bottle and a wrench were found in the roadway. It is not known if there were injuries or property damage.
