DARLINGTON, Wis. — Darlington officials responded a two-vehicle crash which resulted in an overturned car trapping the driver inside at the intersection of Clay St. and Minerva St. on Sunday afternoon around 3 p.m.
The incident report said Janelle Johnson, 33, failed to yield the right-of-way to an eastbound vehicle driven by Donna Smith, 77. The collision caused Smith’s vehicle to overturn, trapping her inside.
The Darlington Fire Department removed Smith from the vehicle with no serious injuries. She was treated by EMS at the scene and released. Johnson and her passengers were not injured.
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office and Al’s Towing assisted at the scene.
