MADISON, Wis. — UW Health is paying tribute to those impacted by HIV all week in honor of Tuesday’s 32nd annual World AIDS Day.
According to a release, UW Health’s HIV Care and Prevention Program has been providing care to those with HIV since 1985. UW Health has hosted an event for World AIDS Day for the past 17 years.
This year they will host free virtual events. UW Health’s Instagram will share videos from community members affected by HIV Tuesday. They will have a live Facebook event called “Consent & Prevent” Wednesday with Planned Parenthood WI. UW Health will cost a virtual conversation on HIV and COVID-19 Thursday. On Friday and Monday they will host additional events.
