MADISON, Wis. — Boys & Girls Club of Dane County CEO Michael Johnson posted on Facebook that he is looking for volunteers to help makeover the home of Anisa Scott’s great grandmother.
Anisa Scott was shot and killed in Madison on August 11 at 11:11 a.m. Johnson said his hope is to refurbish her entire home in 11 days and 11 minutes in honor of her great granddaughter.
Johnson said in his post, “I need volunteer plumbers, carpenters, landscapers and some hands to help an elder in our community who lost 3 family members in less than 120’days.”
Johnson said people wanting to help can donate here and make special note of “Mrs. Irene Home Make Over” so the money goes directly to this project. Those wishing to volunteer can contact the Boys and Girls Club for further information.
