MADISON, Wis. — A burglar reportedly broke in to a Denton Place residence Tuesday night and stole three handguns from the house.
Police said an officer was sent to the residence around 8:15 p.m. after the homeowner returned home to find his house had been broken into. The thief got in to the home by kicking in a door.
Before the officer left the neighborhood, they distributed burglary prevention and notification forms to other homes in the area.
