MADISON, Wis. — Police found a stolen handgun in a diaper bag after stopping a car going 21 mph over the speed limit on N. Whitney Way at around 10 a.m. this morning. The driver, Kevin L. Canady, Jr., 18, had two passengers with him, including an infant.
Officers said they confiscated the stolen handgun, 22 packages containing nearly 74 grams of marijuana, a scale and $2,000.
Canady was cited for the speeding violation and will be facing numerous other tentative charges.
