MADISON, Wis. — Police arrested John K. Leuaxay, 27, after responding to a call from a woman who reported a man approaching her while holding a handgun outside the Mobil gas station on 3101 N. Sherman Ave around 10 a.m.
Police said the woman knew the gunman and the two were in the midst of an argument. According to the incident report, she was able to provide officers with a good description of the suspect’s car which was stopped on N. Third St within minutes of the initial call.
Leuaxay was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed and felon in possession of a firearm.
