MADISON, Wis. — Police arrested a man on multiple tentative drug charges after law enforcement officials executed a search warrant on a residence in the 6500 block of Normandy Lane around 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Ernest Brazzel, 67, was the subject of an ongoing drug investigation by the Dane County Narcotics Task Force.
Police said they seized $2,450, ammunition, cocaine base, heroin, drug packaging, digital scales and other evidence when they searched Brazzel’s residence.
Brazzel was tentatively charged with multiple crimes including reckless homicide, three counts of delivery of heroin under 3 grams, one count of possession of heroin, one count of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, one count of possession of cocaine, one count of maintaining a drug trafficking place.
Police said a 45-year-old woman was also arrested at the scene.
