MADISON, Wis. — The Henry Vilas Zoo lightshow has been canceled due to coronavirus concerns.
According to an announcement on the zoo’s website, the decision to cancel this year’s iteration of Zoo Lights was made in consultation with Public Health Madison & Dane County.
“Zoo Lights is an incredibly popular attraction and it will return next year!” the announcement reads. “Like you, we look forward to a day where we can safety gather once again and enjoy all that comes with living in this community.”
The light was scheduled to run from Nov. 27 through Dec. 27.
