FRIESLAND, Wis. — All southbound lanes of Highway 44 at Ross Road are closed due to a brush fire.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation released a traffic alert Wednesday afternoon saying the fire broke out at 1:20 p.m. The road closure is expected to last two hours.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office are responding to the scene.
