JANESVILLE, Wis. — A new roadway is officially open under Interstate 39/90 in Janesville.
According to a news release, Ryan Road connects Deerfield Drive and Morse Street.
The release said it is opening months ahead to schedule to provide an alternate local route for Janesville residents and visitors.
Ryan Road’s completion will help alleviate traffic during the Highway 26/Milton Avenue and Highway 14/Humes Road construction projects in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
The new road has sidewalks and on-street bicycle lanes.
Traffic signals have also been installed at the Ryan Road and Deerfield Drive intersection.
