JANESVILLE, Wis. — Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville will continue to serve as a community testing site for COVID-19 through March.
Testing at this site was initially set to end on Dec. 10, but has been extended until March 10. The National Guard will also continue to work at this site until then.
A new entrance is in effect for this site. People are asked to use the Highway 51 entrance when visiting campus. The prior one for testing had been off Sunny Lane.
The site will also be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. each day. The next day of testing is Wednesday.
Rock County is also taking over responsibilities associated with this site. Around 650 tests will be administered per day. The testing site will close once those tests have been given.
There will be no testing on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve due to the holidays. The first day of testing in 2021 will be Jan. 6.
