BRODHEAD, Wis. — Police arrested three Brodhead men on suspicion of possession of child pornography Tuesday evening after a months-long investigation.
Brodhead police and agents from the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigations executed a search warrant on a residence in the 600 block of 1st Center Avenue just before 7 p.m.
Officials initially began their investigation after they got a tip from the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that child pornography was being distributed on a social media platform.
According to a Facebook post from the Brodhead Police Department, the investigation took three-and-a-half months.
The three men, 31-year-old Mateo Hernandez Patishtan, 33-year-old Pascual Hernandez Pasishtan, 26-year-old Rafael Hernandez Pasishtan were all booked into the Green County Jail on suspicion of possession of child pornography.
