MADISON, Wis. — A man was arrested Friday night for breaking a glass countertop, damaging displays and trying to knee an officer in the groin at an adult store in Madison.
Officers were called out to the Selective Video II store on Commercial Avenue around 7 p.m., according to a release by the Madison Police Department.
Witnesses said a man was yelling “fight me” at people and telling others he was going to “knock them out,” the release said.
Officers observed Tommie L. Crawford, 61, making threats at people inside the store. According to the release, Crawford tried kneeing an officer in the groin.
Crawford faces tentative charges of disorderly conduct, battery to law enforcement, criminal damage to property and bail jumping.
