MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating after a body was found Saturday morning near the bike path in Reindahl Park.
Madison police and fire departments responded after witnesses called 911 and reported discovering a body at the bottom of a small hill during a morning walk through the park.
An autopsy is scheduled by the Dane County Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death. According to an incident report, the deceased was in his 30s.
MPD’s Violent Crime Unit, detectives and investigators assisted patrol in this incident.
