MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating after a man pulled a handgun from his waistband and demanded money from the register at Casey’s General Store on the 3600 block of Cross Hill Drive around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Police said he first came up to the counter with an item he wanted to purchase before pulling out the black handgun and placing it on the counter. After the employee put money in his bag, the male suspect exited the store and left on foot.
Police utilized a Madison K9 for the investigation. The suspect is still at large at this time.
