MADISON, Wis. — Madison police charged a man that swung at officers after a woman, fearful of an ex-boyfriend, requested to be escorted to her car from inside a Walmart at 4198 Nakoosa Trail on Sunday afternoon.
Police said in the incident report that they utilized a taser after the man began to be aggressive as they tried to detain him.
The man fell to the ground and struck his head. He then was taken to a local hospital for observation.
The man was given a future court date on the tentative charges of disorderly conduct, attempted battery to law enforcement, resisting and four counts of felony bail jumping.
