DUNN, Wis. — Dane County authorities have identified the woman killed in a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 51 and Rutland-Dunn Town Line Road on Monday.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office said the victim, 64-year-old Jill Miller, died at the scene of the crash due to injuries she suffered.
An initial investigation revealed Miller tried to make a left turn on the highway when her car was hit by a 54-year-old man’s pickup truck, according to a news release from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office. Officials said the MIller’s car spun into the northbound lane of the highway and was struck once again by an SUV driven by a 19-year-old woman.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office and the medical examiner’s office are still investigating the crash.
