Iowa County authorities received a report of a person wanted on an arrest warrant at an address on High Street in Mineral Point around 1:30pm Tuesday. Mineral Point Police and multiple Iowa County Deputies responded. As a result, 19 year old Hunter Butteris of Mineral Point was arrested for Discharge of a firearm within 100 yards of a building, Felon in possession of a firearm, 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and Felony Bail Jumping. He was taken to the Iowa County Jail in Dodgeville and remains in custody.
