MADISON, Wis. — Nearly 22% of Wisconsinites have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state Department of Health Services.
As of Tuesday afternoon, 2,043,125 doses have been administered throughout the state. The latest total comes one day after Wisconsin topped the 2 million mark.
Health officials said 721,389 Wisconsinites have been fully vaccinated, which is 12.6% of the state’s population. More than 1.2 million people have received at least one dose, which is 21.9% of Wisconsin’s population.
The seven-day average percent positive by test has remained at 2.1%. The average has stayed below 3% for nearly a month, according to DHS data.

The state reported 480 new cases of the virus Tuesday, which is above the seven-day rolling average of 439. Wisconsin has reached an all-time total of 570,412 confirmed cases, and fewer than 6,400 cases are active.
At least 6,539 have died of coronavirus complications, with three new deaths confirmed Tuesday. DHS officials also confirmed an additional 68 hospitalizations within the past day.
