MADISON, Wis. — Madison police have released surveillance photos of a man who officials said tried to rob someone outside a Walgreens on Tuesday evening.
Police responded to an armed robbery at the Walgreens on 5702 Raymond Rd just before 5:30 p.m. An incident report said a 47-year-old man was leaving the store when the suspect approached him and demanded his wallet while pointing a handgun at him.
The report said the victim was able to get back inside the store, after which the suspect ran away from the area. Officials said no one was hurt, and nothing was actually stolen from the victim.
Police described the suspect as around 18 years old with a smaller build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black ski mask, black winter hat, gray sweatshirt and light gray pants.
