LYNDON, Wis. — Juneau County law enforcement officials have identified two persons of interest in connection to an ongoing death investigation.
Earlier this week, authorities found the bodies of a 33-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman while responding to a welfare check.
Officials said they arrested two people on unrelated charges shortly after finding the bodies.
Those two people, 24-year-old Felix Rivera-Medina and 23-year-old Makaela Decorah have since been named as persons of interest in the investigation. Officials previously said River-Medina lived in the home where the bodies were found.
According to the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement officials will likely file charges against Rivera-Medina and Decorah “in the near future” as the investigation continues.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Detective Jay Greeno at 608-847-9431 or Ho-Chunk Nation Detective Zach Quackenbush at 715-299-0489.
