WINDSOR, Wis. — A 50-year-old man died Thursday morning following a farm accident in rural Dane County.
Dane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an EMS call at 7771 US Highway 51 just before 11:45 a.m.
Authorities said it appears the victim was working on a grain bin auger when it fell and hit him in the abdominal area. The man was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The incident is still under investigation by the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office.
