WAUSAU, Wis. — Police in Marathon County helped a local nursing home after an uninvited guest made their way into the building.
Officials said the deer crashed through a window and into the nursing home.
In a video the police department shared Tuesday night, the deer can be seen sprinting down a hallway toward the officers. Police wrestled the animal and safely escorted it to an exit door.
Officials said the deer appeared to have suffered a couple of small cuts from the glass, but police successfully brought it outside without any additional harm.
