MADISON, Wis. — It’s another sign of spring in Madison.
Ash and Lexi, the two grizzly bears that call Henry Vilas Zoo home, woke up from their winter torpor.
The pair will slowly get up and running over the next few weeks, according to the zoo’s Facebook page.
Staff said it will take a few weeks for the duo to get their energy back and lose the weight they gained for the winter.
