REEDSBURG, Wis. — A Reedsburg family was displaced Monday morning after a fire destroyed their home.
Firefighters were called to 55 Dessa Rain Dr. around 12:30 a.m. for a report of a fire. When they arrived, crews found the home was fully engulfed in flames.
Crews were able to extinguish the blaze quickly, but the home is considered a total loss. Neighboring homes on either side sustained damage to their siding.
The family was able to escape the home uninjured. No other injuries were reported.
The Reedsburg Fire Department, Reedsburg emergency medial services and the Reedsburg Police Department responded to the scene. Alliant Energy, Reedsburg Utilities and The Salvation Army also helped with the response.
